U.S. v. William J. Benson

This case is instructive as to how a prosecution, civil or criminal, for promoting income tax resistance, can be defended.

•  CASE #: 1:04-cv-07403, Filed 11/16/2004. The Government has sued Bill Benson seeking an injunction prohibiting him from falsely telling people the 16th Amendment to the United States Constitution was not ratified and therefore they are not required to file an income tax return.
